Voices of Birralee are running a series of open rehearsals for participants to come and watch Birralee artistic staff work with their own choirs. Depending on the rehearsal, participants may have the opportunity to discuss the rehearsal and ask the conductor questions (this is not guaranteed in every rehearsal).
After observing both the Birralee Kids and Birralee Singers rehearse, I am simply in awe of the harmonious blend of voices and the sheer dedication of each member and their conductors. Witnessing their passion and precision as they fine-tuned every note was truly inspiring and learning new warm-ups to add to my personal repertoire, will be welcomed by my own choir. It was an afternoon filled with music performed enthusiastically, leaving me with a renewed appreciation for the beauty of music and the power of collective effort. Bravo to the choir and their conductors for sharing their talent and spreading the joy of singing! Lindy-Jo, Primary School Teacher

We are disappointed to announce that "I'm Not Sure What I'm Doing" is no longer going ahead. We hope you are able to make one of our other PD sessions this year!
PD IN REVIEW
"I was impressed by the warmth of welcome extended by members of the Birralee family, followed by David himself. It was a very relaxed and informative session. David answered queries from a couple of fellow attendees which benefited us all irrespective of what type of choir we were involved with.
Observations of David's quirky warm-up session and insightful teaching style was much appreciated and the choir's rendition of song was both beautiful and inspiring. Wish I could steal that pianist, what a gem she is!!
I am thankful for the opportunity to be included in the workshopping of a song and to add my voice to the awesome talents of the Birralee Singers. I came away on that special kind of "high" that only comes when you know you have been part of something special."
